Connect to Protect Kids is an innovative solution. It's a new, unique collaboratively-governed nonprofit organization created to develop a new, comprehensive prevention program. With aligned values and goals, six founding partners supported by their four organizations are collaborating with a multitude of partners to develop programs, resources, and strategies at the intersection of research, tradition, and technology. Using the latest research, updated prevention best practices, and consistent messaging for youth, parents, and all adults in a community, this flexible, inclusive toolkit will better meet the needs of all stakeholders and communities.

Protecting children and youth from sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking as well as other types of peer, online, and interpersonal violence is critically needed in today’s society. Yet communities face many challenges such as lack of time, funds, accessibility, and more. We seek to address those challenges with Connect to Protect Kids. It will be the next generation of prevention.

Community is key to us. We are uniquely collaborative and believe Connect to Protect Kids is for everyone. Our awareness and education materials, our research, and our dissemination and implementation strategies will be informed by a wide variety of stakeholders and provided within communities in a holistic way. Strengths-based, solutions-focused, inclusive, and adaptable are a few words that describe our programs AND our team. Our founders are passionate protectors of children with more than 140 years of collective experience in protecting children. Our larger team of partners, advisors, and contributors are prevention experts, organizational leaders, curriculum and content developers, researchers, educators, instructional designers, state leaders, and funders. We have connected with a single goal: create the next generation of prevention to better protect ALL children from abuse and harm.
